The Thoughtful Horsewoman blog is for people who care for and about horses. I share real-life problem-solving information and opinions with those who have a passion for horses.

I’m working on a long-term project to write an interactive site about horse conformation and selection for people who want to choose their next horse with the confidence that their equine partner will be physically suited to the owner’s needs and expectations.

During the 30-day Blog Challenge, I will be writing about horse conformation, horse welfare and helpful information for people getting into horse farming and horse breeding. During the challenge, I will be attending a 2-day equine photography workshop with world-famous horse photographer Gabriele Boiselle, so I’ll be writing about that, too. I’ll also be blogging about the young horse breed show I’m organizing and managing mid-month, and about my work as organizer for the Maryland Horse Council’s new Unwanted Horse initiative. It’s going to be a busy 30 days — which should mean I’ll have a lot to write about. I’m looking forward to reading, enjoying and commenting on the blogs written by my fellow challenge members.
