After 50+ years in the fashion, cosmetics, skin care, TV and professional speaking industries there is not much I have missed when it comes to the industries, the products they offer and how they have changed over the years. Unfortunately, in the beginning I was one of “them” – the early spinners of the “not-quiet-truthful myths, who believed one was only as successful as their last sale and the way they looked.

After 15-years of living the dream it ended. Alopecia Areata Universalis (total loss of body, head, and facial hair) took over my life and came close to ending it. The “NO” factor set in immediately. It is hard to sell the dream with no hair and no face and that quickly equaled no job.

As a retail store owner (it’s hard to fire yourself) with my own brand of cosmetics and skin care, I have been able to educate women nationwide about embracing their own personal beauty by offering quality and reasonably priced products for all age ranges. My niche evolved from finding the “perfect” in everyone.

No longer catering to the “perfect” 2% of the population, I turned my attention to the “medical image change” (a term I coined) client and patient. The highlight of my career was working with the Carrollton Bus Crash survivors in 1988.

Over the years I have added writing (with over 300 published articles), professional makeup artistry (over 200 magazine covers), fashion styling, jewelry and fashion designing. I took my “Strategies…For Living With Change” program on the road and as a member of The National Speakers Association I have presented over 500 programs nationwide.
