I am a 3rd generation serial entrepreneur! I started working in my families businesses about the age of 5 when I was tall enough to stand on a stool and see over the top of the bags to bag groceries. I thought “what kid wouldn’t want to work” – they paid me in toys from the toy section of the store!
I have spent all of my life starting, building and then selling successful businesses (with my share of not so successful along the way)! I have a degree in Accounting and have worked in all aspects of service and retail businesses. In 2007 we decided to sell our multi-million dollar businesses and retire! This was going to allow me time to spend with my teenage children.
What I didn’t realize was how difficult it is for a serial entrepreneur to not have a business to be working on. What it did do was give me the time to think about what I really wanted to do in life and I realized I wanted to do something to help women. Specifically women business owners, whether they own retail businesses or provide services! Thus the beginning of Decisive Minds which is dedicated to helping women business owners figure it out! As a Business Strategist I can help whether it is growing your business, marketing your business, becoming more profitable or streamlining your business. A recent client called me “The Results Lady” and I really like that. I think it sums it up!
